Really Love the new site, has a clean minimal feel with a touch of irreverence! What I do miss though is the Tutorial Section that had an obvious link in the old site. Not all newcomers are familiar (I think) with some of the headaches one has trying to overwrite the uxtheme.dll file in system32. Sometimes it take a Safe Mode/command prompt weedgie to get that shoe to fit, as it were. I was sort of thinking that it might be a friendly thing to build a page with some screen shots of those prompts. Anyway, my thinking is that some of us are more technical, while others are more creative. Somewhere in that blend lies the redemption Ibelieve we all seek

absolutly - finding myself on the 'more creative side' I'd say that it wouldn't be anything without the tecnical side and the help of others. Anyway, I beleve b is working on the tutorialsection..

See, the problem was all the tutorials were saved as half html/half html converted to characters. I have to go through all the tuts and convert to pure html first. Then I have to fix all the bbcode that didn't parse back because of how I'm converting them. Then I have to replace smilie links with smilie characters to get reparsed. Then I have to verify other links are valid, and post.
I have a good 50% of the tutorials back up. I may post backonline today before getting the rest back up, just so you guys can get the ones that are there while I'm working on the others.
Sorry those are taking so long...they are tougher than I thought they'd be to convert to the forums. ![]()
I'll post other things I'll be working on afterwards.
