OK, does anybody know how im supposed to write a tar class to extract and create tar files? Theres no tutorials or anything on how to do something like this , only previously made classes (which i dont like to use anyway) , and they usually dont work either.

Does anybody have the faintest idea of what to do, for instance, how do i create them, what packing headers do i use and how would i use them? Sorry if its a bit too much to ask, but i cant think of anybody else to ask
