Hello, to the entire comunity.

Well, i am trying to get an "events" part of my website by making it read/extract the events scheduled on the calendar of my Invision Power Board forums. What i am trying to do, is that this new "script" will extract nexts 3 or 5 events from the calendar on the forums, and put a countdown system on it, wich will say how many days/hours/minutes left till the event starts.

I was thinking, and maybe this "script" does not have to be done with the calendar database...since maybe it can create its own database and have like some kind of system for certain members (maybe a login/password page) to add the events with their exact time and stuff.

Well...i personally move for the 1st one, since will be easier for me, since i alredy know the calendar system and i can set certain groups to allow to post events on calendar.

Well, i know this script may require lot of time or maybe not...but i am moving foward to hear any replys from the comunity.
