Ok well I bought this about a year ago, but its USB connection and its 40 GB and I had Split it into two 20's(GB).
Now it has very important information in it. Its been on my main desktop and now since I got a laptop, I connected it to my laptop because i needed to transfer some data in to the laptop. When I connected it only one of the partitions came up so I was like 
so then I took it out and connected it to my regular PC now it says that on one Partition it says Used: 700 mb(which is correct) but when I click on it it shows nothing in it! and on the other partition there is abuot 2-3 GB used but when I click on it there are the folders I have but there is nothing inside the folders!!!!
Please I need help in restoring these files because they are very very important and I must get them back!!!!!
