OK.
I'm not the most experienced person setting up forms and stuff cuz I never really used them till now.
But I want to set up a form now and I need just a little better understanding on the functionality.
It will be a drop down menu so code will look something likeCODE<form name='xxxx'>
<option value='&act=Portal'>Portal</option>
<option value='&act=Links'>Links</option>
<option value='&act=downloads'>Downloads</option>
</form>
obviously I will be adding more options to it, but that's the general idea.
What I want to know is
#1. Do I need to use the select tag too?
#2. What about action attribute? I figure I will use post, but will it really matter for a simple redirect?
#3. How could I pull the value out and add it to a base figure, in this case:CODEhttp://bfarber.webdetailing.com/index.php?s={$ibforums->session_id}
by using that as a base url, I can just add the values to the end. The javascript needed to redirect the main page, as I want it to, is already in place. Just trying to get some thoughts on this one
