After an upgrade to Vista, a number of files on my HDDs were either lost or corrupted...so this project is on hold. YAY Microsoft, you've done it again!

I read about this on the other forum. Sorry to hear the news.
There may be a few bugs to work out with Vista. But after working out those bugs myself, I would never go back to XP. However, I never had an image problem with Vista. 
But I have heard numerous problems upgrading. Most which I never experienced. Except for my video card. But I managed to to work all those problems out.
