Convert your logonUI.exe to a *.logonXP without Logon Studio changing anything on you.I've had trouble with Logon Studio, as I could not get the Welcome screen or the log off messages to work. Also, with the logon notice, I could not change the font or the color. This is when I turned to ResHacker, and hacked my LogonUI.exe file.
What I did, so my logon would be the same as it is in a lognUI.exe (so it did not revert to a *.logonXP file just yet), was go to the file folder that Logon Studio created, and delete the UIFILE.txt and the uifile.oldlayout. This worked! Everything was the same, except for one small thing...the notice at the bottom right corner. This still said Logon Studio and Stardock.com, etc...
When I tried to edit the author information, everything changed back to the Logon Studio standards, so obviously it was not here that I could get rid of their information.
I then found that if I clicked on the options button, in the Main window, and unchecked the "Display Copyright Info" their message disappeared and mine came into view. Then the author info came up, so I had to uncheck this as well.
I then proceded to go through the process again from scratch. I imported my logonUI.exe file, and went to options and unchecked both the "Display Copyright Info" and "Dispaly Author Name on the Logon Screen". Then, without going to edit, I clicked the apply button in the Main Menu, and everything is how I wanted it.
I also did not change anything in the theme.ini file. I did not have to because the only way the [Enhancedlayout] gets in the theme.ini is when you edit the logon. I noticed that the only way the uifile.oldlayout gets put in the folder, is if you edit the logon (probably as a backup).
Another thing that I noticed is that when you
do edit the logon, and it makes a uifile.oldlayout and adds the [Enhancedlayout] to the theme.ini file, it changes the last section of the UIFILE, and sets alot of things to "0" or just takes them out. This is why I was not seeing my welcome message and other things. Why does it do that? (still to be determined...)
So in other words, you could call this a clean change-over from a logonUI.exe to a *.logonXP.

And to think I was going to give up on Logon Studio...
I hope this helps someone out there that is trying to use both Reshacker and Logon Studio to make their logins!
