Hey, that's pretty sweet. biggrin.gif

And you did that with Photoshop 7? blink.gif I wasn't aware you could do animations in PS.

Actually, I used PS 7 AND Image Ready 7!!

All of the artwork was done in PS -- 36 different frames. Trust me when I say it's not that difficult once you figure out how to get the top image(tribal in this case) to rotate!

Then, when I had all of the frames the way I wanted them, I imported them into Image Ready! Started with the 1st frame (of course!) then copied and pasted each succeeding frame into the first one! I know sounds simple don't it!? Anyway, once I had all of the frames positioned where I wanted them, I did a test run (push the play button in the animation toolbar) to make sure it looked right, and to test the speeds. Actually, the speeds on this one are set to 0.0 and happened to come out real nice! Not always the case though!!

Since the time I posted this avatar here, I have figured out how to make everything rotate on the Y-axis (like the earth) -- When does that one come out?, who knows just yet -- THAT for me right now would take me about 3 solid days to make happen! If the program that FB suggested works better, then maybe I'll use that one! For right now, this works for me and will continue to work until I can try out the other!!

If you want, I could put a tutorial together that shows people how to create animated avatars (or anything else for that matter) in PS/IR (Photoshop/Image Ready)! Let me know! wink.gif

Sure, a tutorial on it would be great. biggrin.gif We love new tutorials, as it helps those who aren't as familiar with graphics to do some of those cooler things.

In the past, I've always used GifAnimator.
