Whenever I apply padding to a text input in my site, in internet explorer, instead of padding the box and making it bigger, it pads inside the box and misplaces the text inside. This is really pissing me off and it makes me even more annoyed that IE7 isn't out yet for all the noobs that don't use firefox.

If you have the answer to this really annoying bug, please share smile.gif because this has got to be the most difficult thing yet and its only simple HTML and CSS which is just noobed out to the max. angry1.gif

Well, hmm...if you add padding to the input box, padding is supposed to give space on the inside of the element (in this case, it should in theory give space between the input borders and the content inside the input field).

It sounds like you need to use margin instead (which is intended to give space on the outside of the element)...or give padding to the element that contains the input tag (the div or td cell). smile.gif

I sorted that out, but i had to use the dreaded static height! ohmy.gif

Anyway, another question, how would I pass, say for instance, a class or variable into an iframe?
