Well, this is kind of annoying...

If you go to w3's validator and type (as the url) http://rschaos.ultrameg.com/index.htm , itll say that the <body> and <head> tags are nested wrong, even though I have them nested right.

I don't have a doctype, so it falls back to 4.01. If i declare the doctype as html 4.01, however, it REALLY messes up my layout.

Any ideas?

Firstly, you really should declare a doctype and character encoding. It will NEVER validate without those.

Dang...I visited your page once (not sure why I opened it right away) and now my IS dept is blocking me, so I can't check your source code.

Can you post the beginning contents up to the body tag here?
