Disable XP Boot Logo

Disabling the XP boot logo will slightly speed up the overall boot process. To do this:

Type ‘msconfig’ in the Run menu

Click on the Boot.ini tab.

Here click on the option that says “/NOGUIBOOT”, press OK and reboot.

Feel free to perform other tweaks from here as well.


Warning: Removing the boot screen will not let you see any boot-up messages that might come up e.g. chkdsk, convert, etc.
