sad.gif I downloaded the latest Media Player (v10) then went to listen to a bit of internet radio. I was informed, however, that I had to install the MSN Music plugin / program to use this feature hmm.gif - I proceeded and then clicked on the Radio menu and chose a genre. Media player then jumped straight to MSN Music and informed me that I have to pay to stream music !! mad.gif

MS is offering its music at 1p (GBP) for 1 x stream and 69p for 1 x track download - you can purchase different packages, such as: 69p for 1 track or 69 streams, £6.99 for 10 tracks and 699 streams, £19.99 etc

The idea is that you can have full access to all the tracks and can download them and burn them to cd or copy to a music device.

My Comments:

1. This maybe OK if this is what you want but I just wanted to listen to the radio.
2. Doesn't this smack of anti-trust again with regards to other download services?
3. Does anyone know if I can still get free radio from WMP v10?

Please let me know what you think ...

Just go and download iTunes.

Completely free, cleaner service and cleaner program, no mess or fuss, good connection quality with minimal cut-out, more radio station availability.

You were right Cmaza ... iTunes is very good and has free internet radio. I have also installed boombox as a station finder - it can record the feed as well.
