Does anybody knows how I can decrease my taskbar's length because its to long (its a stupid quistion I know)

most of the programs has a 'show in taskbar' tick in preference

Yes but usualy the taskbar decreases itself you can still show the maximum size by clicking on the little triangle there must be a setting for this that I can change.

Yup, that's about the extent of it. Otherwise, just close out programs (stop them from automatically starting upon startup too) that you aren't using.

I know you can't possibly be using that many programs and/or need them all open constantly. I bet you will notice a bit of speedup too if you shut some/most of them down. wink.gif

The thing to remember though is that each of those little icons mean a process is running, taking up resources and slowing down your computer.

You probably already know, but further to ScaR's tip, you can also manually choose which icons appear when 'inactive icons' are hidden - click 'Customize' to the right of the 'Hide inactive icons' tick box and select to show always etc wink.gif
