when i try to save a picture its always bmp and when i choose from the drop down menu, its the only choice, this happens to pictures that are usually .jpg

this has been a regular topic since the birth of bfarber.com lol
all you need to do is go into internet options (via tools in explorer or the control panel) and clear your history and delete all your temporary files the restart you internet explorer if you have it open

Oh yeah, and don't forget, delete damaged "objects" too.
Tools->Internet Options->Settings->View Objects
Delete any unknown or damanged objects and restart IE.
