Be careful....
With that said, you want to type this into your address bar of Windows Explorer:
C:\boot.ini
This is what mine looks like for reference:
timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
Basically, find the one you want to auto boot and assuming it is already the default (i.e. when you boot your pc, if you don't make a choice it auto selects the one you want), change timeout to 0.
You can also try right clicking my computer, choose properties, then go to advanced tab, then hit the startup button. You will see the options here as well, though these don't always seem to read properly to me for some reason.
Be careful like I said, and let me know if you have any questions.

Sounds good to me. ![]()
As for the boot.ini, yes, it will remove your bootscreens if you remove some of those entries (rather, just the mapping to the custom boot screens), however it shouldn't affect your visual styles. ![]()
In any event, glad it is sorted.
