I don't know, but i figured maybe someone here might.
i suddenly seem to be having a problem with exporer. underneath the icon in my start menu it says, "(no add ons)" and when i run it i get this stupid yellow window at the top. i have tried enabling all the add ons, even the ones i dont want, but the changes don't seem to take effect. i have even tried un-installing and re-installing. nothing has helped. have any of you encountered anything like this before? do you know how to fix it? i usually use opera, but there are a few sites i visit regularly that require explorer so i cant do away with it all together.
it's driving me nutz! my home page won't load from start up, i have to deal with the stupid message window first.

Not sure I am having that problem...although my IE7 is driving me nutz with it not reading some add-ons properly...I would recommend going to microsoft.com and seeing if there are any help files there that may answer your question wink.gif

First off, I highly recommend switching to Mozilla Firefox.

http://www.mozilla.org in the addons situation you are having with Internet Explorer, Firefox has a ton of choices to choose from that can be a lot more useful and will mostly work (unless it was a human error by the developer).

As for IE, IE is really buggy and can do a lot of freaky things. So I recommend using Firefox or another browser.

I can really assist you with IE yourself because I use Mac OS X
